Zebrano Laminate Flooring - An alternative stylish stripy finish
Another fairly new product to our site, we added Zebrano Flooring in January 2012 and it's been met with many positive reviews from customers, click here to read the homebase reviews. The floor itself is a ''zebra' style pattern based on the Zebrawood (Wikipedia) grain which is described as dark stripes on a light background. The solid version Zebrawood is considered an threatened species of wood so opting for a laminate zebrano effect could be preferable to obtaining the solid wood version. Homebase stock the Zebrano range of flooring including Fine White and Staggered varieties. With regards to the reviews on Homebase, they seem to be very high indeed scoring (Jan 2012) on average 4/5. Positive comments included the pleasing aesthetics, and a majority of the customers found the product extremely easy to install when compared to other floors and laminate click systems. The negative reviews were indicating that the product was poor quality (chips/scratches). [Jan 2012], 75% of customers would recommend this floor to a friend.
Another retailer stocking Zebrano effect flooring is B&Q. They sell the 'ToughLOC Zebra Plank' which is suitable for most areas of the house other than bathrooms. Judging by reviews however, in this instance the Homebase product seems to have scored much higher in reviews so may be a better alternative if you are basing your shopping around previous customers comments. Finally Wickes features some products which we've added to this category however they are not strictly Zebrano. We decided to add these products to give customers a choice of similar finishes to compare prices, reviews and pictures of. If you do decide to purchase Zebrano from Homebase, please be sure to reserve and collect from your local store to avoid dissapointment should the product be out of stock.
